I have gone through a peel with the following combination. 15% TCA 8% Phenol Retinoic acid Phytic acid Glycolic acid Salicylic acid Ascorbic acid Mandelic acid I haven t seen any peeling yet! How much time does it take for the peeling process to start?
You have taken the first sitting of a chemical peel yet. A chemical peel causes very slow removal and exfoliation of the skin. Mostly the exfoliation is not really visible since the skin slowly rejuvenates and comes off. It looks like simple dryness of the skin, but actually it is the exfoliation. Following the peel, there is mild inflammation of the skin for two to three days. Following this, the exfoliation starts which can go up to some 7 to 10 days. After this, the new skin cells come out and thus a facial glow is seen But remember that you might need a few sittings sometimes before any effect can be seen.
