Brief Answer:
This discomfort should ease off...

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Foreign particle in the breathing pipe would cause persistent cough if not breathing difficulty. Since you do not have cough or breathing difficulty after that accident, the pill is less likely in the breathing pipe.

This feeling of 'something stuck in throat' could either be due to pill or inflammatory changes. In most probabilities it will ease off. I will recommend you drink warm fluids. Warm salt water gargles or gargling with warm water mixed with disprin tablets will help you.

In addition you should also start antihistamine pills for cold and cough.

If symptoms persist or worsens, do not hesitate to consult a doctor.

Hope this helps. Let me know if you need clarifications.

Regards
