Laparoscopic Operated For Left Testicle Varicocele, Feeling Pain. Diagnosed As Epididymitis. Cyst Is Felt
Hi, I have been laparoscopic operated for left testicle vercocele. But after 10 days of my operation i have been feeling pain in left testicle. On consult doctor first diagnosed it as epditimits. I am not feeling any relief since 20 days. Now a cyst is also felt. The epdimitits is coming back with revenge. I am also feeling pain while walking. What to do now.
Hi Ashish,
Thanks for writing in.
Epididymitis needs to be treated with a mixture of antibiotics and pain killers. Antibiotics like ceftriaxone and doxycycline and painkillers like ibuprofen are used. For the pain, you can take Tablet Disprin 1 tablet dissolved in water with food. You can take upto 4 tablets daily.
I would suggest you see your physician again for a course of antibiotics. An ultrasound of the local area may be needed to look for the presence of a post operative infection, which may need to be drained.
Hope this helps.
Regards
