Suggest Treatment For Pimples And Reddish Pallor On Face
Question: Hi.. My mom is 45 of age.. She went to parlour 3 year back and something happened to her face that day. It became reddish and then slowly pimples started coming up and till now for 3 years it couldn't be solved.. No doctor can give a fix. Some doctor said it's nickel cobalt allergy and some say something else. My mom lost weight too.. She reduced taking oil items food and now she is on 49 kg before she is in 62 kg. I'm attaching photo of her current face and lab report. Please check and tell me what's the real problem with my mom skin. Also she got root canal treatment long time ago and it seems now it's showing the reflection of some kind of allergy which is unknown. Please help. We lost all hope but only believing that God will help us. These reports are from 2012. Still we have same issues

Hi, I have provided some attachments. Please review them.
Brief Answer:
Need more specific information from you and I suggests a few blood tests
Detailed Answer:
Hi.
Thank you. I have reviewed Images as well as reports. I can see skin colored, red, infiltrated papules and nodules on face.
This does not seem like routine Acne/ Pimples to me.
Moreover, she has lost almost 13 Kilograms, in this time span. This is significant weight loss.
I will keep a few differential diagnoses i.e Cutaneous Sarcoidosis Or Hansen's disease/Leprosy Or Diffuse cutaneous leishmaniasis Or Jessner's lymphocytic infiltrate.
Investigations should be directed towards these possibilities.
I would like to gather more information from you..
-Apart from weight loss, does she has a history of low grade fever, dry cough, night sweats?
-Does she complain of sensory loss over hands, arms, feet, legs etc?
I would request a few more laboratory tests for her, specifically in view of a possibility of sarocidosis i.e levels of serum Angiotensin Converting Enzyme (ACE). Levels of this enzyme are raised in active sarocidosis.
I would also ask for serum calcium levels, a chest X ray report and a Mantoux test.
A repeat skin Biopsy is also warranted. Previous skin biopsy is not very suggestive.
Regards
