Tingling And White Spot On Hand, Burning Extending To Fingers. What Is The Cause?
My girlfriend is having tingling in her hand and there is a little white spot on her hand. We re unsure what happened to her but we think it might be an insect bite of some kind. However she doesn t think she was bitten but may not have seen I. Do u know what might cause this? The burning is extending to her other fingers. Should we see a doctor immeditaley?
I think it would be prudent to see a skin specialist for this issue. There are a few white or discolored lesions that can be associated with abnormal sensations; a very rare one, but still possible cause of hypopigmentation (white discoloration) and paresthesias (abnormal sensation) is cutaneous leprosy, which of course, should be ruled out depending on risk factors, expossure, demographics, etc
