Brief Answer:

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for your query.
Plantar fasciitis is caused by inflammation associated with fibrosis, or structural deterioration of the plantar fascia of the foot.
Taking antiinflammatories will help to get rid of the pain and halt the process of inflammation preventing progression.
The root cause of the same is difficult to find out.
You can take Ibuprofen (Tab Motrin 400 mg) twice daily for 5 days to reduce the inflammation and pain.
Custom orthotic devices have been demonstrated as an effective method to reduce plantar fasciitis pain.
A definitive but invasive technique involving surgery can be considered a possible cure.

Antiinflammatory medications alone can cure the condition if it is in the initial stage.
Yes, it is curable. Medications help in initial stages and surgery for severe cases.
