Suggest Treatment For Pleuritis
Question: I have a cold/flu and my upper right side of my back hurts also around the side to my chest in pain, hurts when I breath

It looks like you are suffering from pleuritis. It is nothing but infection of the lining of the lung. Most often it is self limiting and requires treatment with pain killers.
Here is what you should do
1. Tab Paracetamol taken three times daily is the ideal first line pain killer for it
2. If you have fever as well, I recommend you to start antibiotics like tab levoflox once a day for 5 days
3. For the cold Tab Levocetrizine can be taken, once at night. It might cause mild drowsiness.
4. If the pain persists or becomes more intense, I suggest you to get an x ray done.
