Suggest Treatment For Pleurx Catheter Infection

Question: Y. My mom has a pleurx catheter since august. It stopped drawing about a month ago. In these last few days she has had some green drainage in her catheter. About 2 per day. She is complaining of moderate pain on that side. I fear it may be infected. Should I take her to the ER?
