Treatable with medication or surgery?
Brief Answer:
either ways
Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXXXXX
It is treated either ways with medicine and/or surgery.
If the cysts are big, they are surgically drained. As I said earlier, the definitive surgical treatment would be renal transplant.
Medical management is done initially and to relieve the symptoms. Drugs used are ACE inhibitors, Angiotensin II Receptor Antagonists, Antibiotics, and Phosphate Binders.
Let me know if you have further queries.
Take care!
