Brief Answer:
Post acne pigmentation

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Welcome to healthcare magic.

I have gone through your history and seen the clinical pictures.

You seem to be having post acne pigmentation on both your cheeks. This usually happens if you scratch or meddle with the acne. Are you still in the habit of touching or rubbing that spot? That habit will prevent the mark from disappearing completely.

I would suggest to you the following -

1. You could apply a gel containing 2% Kojic acid and vitamin C ( e.g- Clearz plus cream) twice a day on the spots. Use this for about 3 months regularly to get good results.

2. You could use a face was containing 2% salicylic acid once a day. This will cause mild exfoliation and gently peel away the dead layers.

3. Do not scratch or touch that area.

4. You could get glycolic acid based peels done by a good dermatologist. This will help to lighten the spot and also give a good glow to your skin.

5. Avoid sunlight and use a gel based, broad spectrum sunscreen every 4 hours. Sunlight will worsen any kind of pigmentation on the face.

Hope this helps you.

If you have any more queries, I will be glad to answer.

Take care.

Thank you Doctor, i will use the clearz cream, also, will they completely go away?
I dont touch it because i dont feel anything there, no itching, no pain, its just there.

secondly, i have been feeling feeling weak, headache, also, depressed ( as if i dont want to go out or enjoy, drink or party with people.)
I do not drink much coffee, i had lost twenty kilos in 3 months last year because of the place that i was living in did not suit me, now im out of the place and have been eating regularly but i dont feel motivated to do much. the possible things i worry about are:
1. i dont drink much water.(1-2 litre in a weak max)
2. i drink a lot of soft drinks instead.
3. i smoke but it has not been harming my lungs, as in no cough or anything( got my x ray, its clear)
4.i also feel lethargic and feel like my neck area hurts in the day.
5. my feet often get numb when i sit on the floor cross legged or i m watching tv while lying down with my weight on one side more than the other.
6. my weight is 62 kgs ( gained nine kilos in 3 months) and height is 5'11" but i feel lazy when i want to eat much and i do feel hungry.

please tell me what to do, and what are the benefits of hydrating myself, also does it help my mood?

Thank you so much, please help me if you can?

Brief Answer:
Could be mild depression

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

Greetings.

To answer your query about whether the mark will be go away - It will definitely lighten to a large extent if you follow the suggestions I gave you earlier.

I have gone through the various symptoms you have listed.

It is definitely advisable that you drink 2-3 liters of water daily. Avoid soft drinks as this contains lot of sugars which can cause mood changes and worsens acne. However, drinking lots of water alone will not solve the problems listed by you.

I do feel that you may be having mild depression or chronic fatigue syndrome.

I am a dermatologist. I would advise you to post a query to a psychiatrist or psychologist in healthcare magic forum listing all the problems you have expressed here. They may ask you further questions regarding your background so that they can do a good assessment and they will be able to guide you better.

Hope this helps you.

I wish you good health.

Regards,
Dr. Johny Chacko
