Brief Answer:
Do not stop it cold turkey

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXXXX

Can you let me know your current reading of blood pressure and heart rate?

POTS requires regular monitoring and a good understanding of the patient about the disease is a must too.

You cannot go off the beta blocker cold turkey or just like that. You must taper the dose gradually, and then stop it. If need be, you can be maintained on very low dose of metoprolol. That would be better.

Do not stop the medicine cold turkey; it is not advisable to do that.

Hope your query is answered. Let me know about your other queries that you may have.
