Suggest Treatment For Presence Of Calcification's In Kidney

Question: Greetings. The attached report indicates a finding of tiny calcifications in my left kidney (which is also larger than the right by almost 3 cm). Is this calcification indicative of something that could spread throughout my body as I age, and is there a remedy for it in the kidney or to prevent its spreading? What would be the cause of this? Thanks.
Brief Answer:
These are benign changes. Not to worry much.
Detailed Answer:
Hello, Sir.
I can certainly understand your concern.
I have worked through your report in detail.
It shows small vascular calcifications. This represents changes secondary to long standing age related degeneration and high blood pressure.
These small calcifications are harmless and warrant no further investigation.
To prevent their further extension, it's important to maintain blood pressure in control and adequate hydration.
As of now, you need no therapeutic intervention.
Post your further queries if any.
Thank you.

My blood pressure is still in normal range, and I try to maintain normal hydration. Isn't it unusual that some small calcification would be only in one kidney, and that the left kidney should be as almost three centimeters larger than the right?
Brief Answer:
Anatomical variations contribute to differences in size.
Detailed Answer:
Hello, Sir.
I can understand your concern.
Size difference of 1-3 cm may exist, which is normal.
Likewise, it's very much possible to have calcifications in one kidney alone. This could be due to alterations in blood flow between the two kidneys.

Is there anything I would do (such as take Magnesium capsules) that could improve the blood flow besides the blood pressure and hydration? Thanks.
Brief Answer:
Magnesium is not required at the moment.
Detailed Answer:
Hello, Sir.
At the moment, there is no need to take magnesium supplements for improvement of hydration and blood flow.
Mere control of blood pressure and blood sugar will automatically improve blood flow on the long run.
Magnesium supplements can have their own side effects.
