Suggest Treatment For Prostatitis

Posted on Thu, 18 Aug 2016
Question: Hello....I have prostatitis. This malady visits me every so often, and has or the last 40+ years. This is the result of driving a VW to NJ in 3 days when I was in my late 20s. My prostate is enlarged and "boggy." Currently, the I have a minor sensitivity when urinating, which can be frequent. No burning. No pain. Slight discharge. My dr. prescribed Cipro 500mg for 14 days. I began taking it 3 days ago. Minor change at this point...but still there. Any thoughts? Oh yes, I am 72.

I am on a number of meds...Tamulosin HCL, Atenolo, Lamotigine, Esomerprazole,
Lipitor, Nexium, Fluxoxtine.
