Suggest Treatment For Psychosis
Question: Hello Doctor,
Here i want to ask you about my husband. He is also a doctor in profession but never satisfied with his work. He is Orthopaedic Surgeon but not working anywhere since more than a year. Earlier he worked as XXXXXXX Resident at Fortis hospital, XXXXXXX
we are happily married with two lovely kids; both sons. Our marriage was in 2002. one son is 9yrs old and little one 4yrs. Since 2002 or after that i m facing problem with my husband that he often recalls his bad memories of his day to day life. earlier he used to complain to his father; now he is no more. And now its only me to bear his complains like your dad says this,your mom said this. even my brother and sister everybody. he usually shouts a lot and fight with me about the silly silly mistakes done by my parents and my family. He says they disrespect him. He use to carry so many bad memories from 2002 to till now. i have tried a lot to convince him to Forgive n Forget but all in vain.He is a smoker too and sometimes drinks.Without job he runs a carefree life; watching late night tv, all day sleeping, Appetitite is good. Love to eat non veg like daily.Normally he is all fine. but sometimes in a week or two week this attack come and firstly he became restless and lack of sleep and then start repeating and reciting all things with me. This is now unbearable for me. I also feel so depressed that he is not even trying for his job and quarrel like this. our kids are growing. These things effect on them too. i dont know he needs Psychiatric help or not. but in last attack i ve seen him alone moving both his hands (like he is talking to someone) but no one was there. i m so tensed n stressed. In psychosis patient lack insight. So they deny for having problem and refuse treatment. It is family members duty to bring treatment for them. In that case, it better if you yourself consult nearby or known psychiatrist for him and plan the treatment.

Thanks a lot for your reply and suggestion regarding my husband problem. The big problem with me regarding his treatment is there is no one alive in his immediate family member as he is only child and his mom n dad is passed away. i cant take help of my parents and family because they are the reason behind his anger. he will not even listen them. so this is only me to take action. but i dont know any psychiatrist near by. though i stay in east XXXXXXX but i cant go outside and visit any doctor so i want you to plan his treatment online or telephonic as u say. thanks
