Brief Answer: Antihistamine, De-worming & Antibiotic useful Detailed Answer: Hi there. It does appear that your wife has pustules on the face that were present prior to delivery & used peels etc for the same with no respite. Cialo lotion will not do anything for the Hives i am afraid...it is a topical calamine based lotion. Please de-worm her using mebendazole 100mg tablets taken twice/day with food for a 3 day period. Also let her start a 'safe' antihistamine like Atarax 10mg taken once daily over a 20day period for the urticaria to settle. For the pustules, let her start either erythromycin or azithromycin group of antibiotics..both safe during lactation period. However, you will need the prescription for the same from a dermatologist or GP near you. This course also could be taken over a 3 week period. If at the end of 3 weeks, all your problems still persist, then you will need to do a battery of lab tests to help pinpoint the cause of urticaria & consider other medicines & will need to see a dermatologist in person nearest you. Please trace one using this HCM website. However, i strongly feel with this advice above, your wife will find relief & i wish her a clear skin soon & congratulations on your baby boy & hope you are enjoying parenthood. Good Luck & Godspeed.
