What is the possible reasons for this pain? Is this something to with the nerves?
Possibility of nerve compression syndrome.
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thank you for asking Health care magic forum.
I have gone through your query. Nerve compression syndrome is a possibility in your case. Do you had any history of trauma to shoulder or neck? Or Do you have any swelling in shoulder or arms? Another possibility of getting such pain is cervical spondylosis or disc herniation.
A physical examination with an orthopedician or neurologist is necessary to rule out any nerve compression and site of it. Nerve conduction study will be also helpful in assessing the condition. In such case decompression of it or neurotropic drugs and physiotherapy will be helpful.
Hope this may help you. Let me know if anything not clear.
Thanks.

Thank you for the answer.
There are no swellings anywhere. I consulted a Neurologist but he could not find anything. I use my left shoulder for carrying my laptop bag. Is this the cause for the pain? Will Gabantip AT and Etoshine 90 help? Are these the right tablets? Web search shows that these are pain killers (I could be wrong).

Can be due to repetitive stress injury to nerves by holding bag.
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thank you for your follow up query.
In such case pain is most likely neuropathic which can be due to repetitive stress by holding laptop bag on shoulder. Etoshine is NSAID group drug for pain. Gabantip At is combination of gabapentin and amitryptilline which is used for neuropathic pain. I would recommend vitamin B12 also along with these. These drugs are effective in neuropathic pain. You should have a regular follow up with your neurologist. Physiotherapy will be helpful also along with this.
Hope this may help you. Let me know if anything not clear.
Thanks.
