Suggest Treatment For Raised Flesh Blister On Retromolar Trigone Region

You will need some investigations to confirm diagnosis...
Detailed Answer:
Hello and thanks for writing in.
I have gone through your query and seen your picture. It’s sure that there is some sort of infection below the retromolar region.
I would strongly recommend you to visit a dental surgeon.
They may take the x ray of that region.
It can be a lipoma, hemangioma or a mucocele.
Lipomas are soft to the touch, usually movable, and are generally painless. It is composed of body fat.
Hemangioma is a blood filled sac usually present since birth or can occur afterwards.
mucocele is a sac filled with mucin generally occurs due to defect in salivary gland.
But doesn’t worry any of these condition is not very serious and can be treated.
They can perform FNAC (fine needle aspiration cytology) to come to a conclusion.
Do send me the reports so that I can be able to tell you the exact treatment plan.

thank for your reply. I got good exposure from your response.
I visited a dental surgeon , he advised to cut the flush and stitch. he said further testing is not required. Currently I am in Saudi Arabia and medical service are not so advance. I am planning to visit XXXXXXX in January for treatment if it not healed it self.
We have our family dentist and I send her the same picture and she said that it has to cut for removing and perform biopsy on the flesh. based on that treatment will be needed.
As of now, from the previous rupture (4 day ago) ,it is shrinking with no pain. now it is around 1 or 2 mm flesh out.
Following are my queries.
Have you looked at the picture.when it ruptured the flesh is very tiny less than 2 mm. do you still think It can be a lipoma, hemangioma or a mucocele.
do saliva gland exist in retro molar region ,if we assume it is mucocele. if it heal it self do i still need any testing.
you have mentioned about infection ,do you feel any virus or infection can cause the blister. what are suspected virus or infection.
Once again thank you
investigations needed

hello and welcome back.
yes i have seen the picture of your oral cavity which you have uploaded.according to that there is more chance that its a mucocele.
mucoceles can be seen as a small fluid-filled vesicles on the soft palate, the retromolar pad area, the posterior buccal mucosa, and, occasionally, on the lower labial mucosa.
These vesicles spontaneously rupture and leave an ulcerated mucosal surface that heals within a few days.
sometimes several lesions may be present, and they range from being nontender to painful.
some times mucocele can mimic the appearence of lipoma or hemangioma which can only be diagnosed through further investigation.
certain bateria like Staphylococcus species, Streptcoccus species, and other anaerobic bacteria can cause oral infection and pus formation.
as you have mentioned it occurred 4 times in last one month it shows there is some infection.
you have your wisdom teeth erupted completely and doesn't look like carious also so there shouldn't be any problem due to that.
as i said before going for the surgical removal FNAC (if its a fluid filled area) or a biopsy (if its a mass) must be done for these type of cases.
i would say that if you are planning to do the tests in XXXXXXX then don't get it removed now .
as for now you can take a good antibiotic like cefpodoxime 200 mg plus clavulanic acid 125 mg (e.g Gudcef CV 200) and flagyl 400 mg through prescription.
Hope this answer helps.Take care
