Yes, you may use a topical steroid cream, twice daily. The cream that contains mometasone furaote 0.1% w/w should be fine for this. Using it for 3-5 days should be enough.
Oraly you may continue with either cetrizine Or fexofenadine, once daily, for symptomatic relief from itching
