Brief Answer:
Clinical evaluation and labwork under Specialist's opinion to get diagnosis

Detailed Answer:
Hi.
Thanks for your query.

Read and understood your history and concerns.
4 months is a long time to suffer from a set of problems.
you have a history of diarrhea, night sweats, rash behind neck and arms and bruising just above the kidneys, lost 25 lbs in just 4 months.
You have visited a Doctor who opines this due to menopause (age of 73).

My thoughts from the history you have provided:
-Menopausal symptoms do not occur at 73, and not like the way is it presenting in your case.
-Combination of the symptoms you have noted indicate for a proper clinical examination and investigations under the Specialist's care:

I would advise the following in such a case:
-Blood work, CBC and coagulation profile as to know the cause of the rash and bruises; Thyroid profile, liver functions tests, kidney function tests, sugar.
Blood culture may help to see if there is bacterimia.
-To co-relate this with diarrhea as such appearance in the GI system can be the reason of diarrhea and can be confirmed by:
Upper GI Endoscopy and Colonoscopy.
-Complete Stool tests including occult blood for 3 consecutive days.

Night sweats can occur due to many reasons and can be due to intestinal infection in your case.

Opinion of a Gastroenterologist and / or Hematologist will be a better idea to get a proper diagnosis.

All these points have been explained based on the history you have provided.
I hope this answer helps you to get a proper diagnosis, and get a proper further treatment. Please feel free to ask for more or if you need further clarifications if you feel there is a gap of communication.
