Brief Answer:
The possible cause are irritative dermatitis or bacterial infection.

Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXXXXX

Thank you for posting your question to HCM,

Can you provide a clinical photo of that skin area around eye, so that I can have an idea of how it looks?

From the information you have written me, looks like the doctors have evaluated as a allergic dermatitis (the citrizien syrup and cetaphil moisturiser is suggestive of that).

In my opinion, generally this area is very difficult to be a bacterial infection, so there might be possibility of an irritative dermatitis.

The steroid cream or ointment with antibiotic cream combination like (Tenovate-N) might help it if it is red, inflamed, and most important depending on the looks of it.

Hope this is helpful.

Kindly provide me with the extra information needed, and I will be happy to clarify further.

Brief Answer:
Looks like a cellulitis.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for the follow-up.

I have gone through the picture from which it looks to be a cellulitis but a single look with at the lesion by naked eye of the doctor would confirm the diagnosis.

Here, I would like to ask you some questions regarding this rashes.

Is there any pain or itching over the lesion?
Or is that red skin is warm to touch?

As I said earlier,it could be either irritative dermatitis or bacterial infection so,steoidal cream/ointment with antiseptic topical agent will be helpful to get rid off it.

Tenovate-N is the name of that steroid with antiseptic combination cream which could be available over counter and if not then your local doctor may prescribe it.

I expect to get it better within 5 to 7 days but in case not then it would be best to seek advice from dermatologist.
