Suggest Treatment For Rashes In The Groin Area

probably yeast
Detailed Answer:
Hello and thanks for your question,
We receive many questions so it often takes some time for us to get to your question. We will also answer follow up questions but that two may take several hours between question and response.
Rashes in the groin area are most often yeast/fungal type rashes. In areas where the skin rubs, especially if it is hot and sweaty, the yeast can grow and cause a rash.
This rash is often slightly pink to red with solid patches and single bumps on the outside edges. It is almost always itchy
The best treatment for this is an antifungal cream or powder. Some names of these that can be purchased at most pharmacies are lamisil (terbinafine), lotrimin, miconazole, terconazole, ketoconazole.
Find one of these and apply it to the rash twice a day for several weeks and it should resolve.
If it does not, then you will need to see a doctor for an evaluation
