Suggest Treatment For Rashes On Lower Legs

Question: Please tell me what this rash is. I have no symptoms other that just visual- otherwise I would not even notice it.
Brief Answer:
Need to have the following data...
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thank you for providing the photo which is telling a lot regarding your actual problems.
However, I still need to have more information:
- is it itchy? or burning? or any other local symptom?
- are you using any medication recently? or any new drug you might have taken recently?
- do you keep animals or working with animals?
- any family member or relatives or friends with skin problems?
- do you work in garden?
- any new detergent/cleaning product/personal hygiene product used recently?
All these data will help give a more specific opinion regarding the rash in you arm.
Thank you!

This is actually my lower leg and i have the same rash on the other leg in the same place The answer to all your questions is no..
Brief Answer:
Dermatitis,cortisone cream to apply...
Detailed Answer:
Hi back,
Thank you for providing the requested information.
Taking all them into account, I can say that the rash is dermatitis (skin inflammation) unless you have used any medicated cream locally. I was reviewing the other discussion you had with the dermatologist here at HCM where you talk about a recent history of bacterial skin infection. This makes me think that you might have used an anti-bacterial cream locally that might have caused such irritation.
I advise to apply cortisone cream locally to reduce inflammation and observe changes for the next days.
Hope it was of help!

The other discussion was for my husband not myself... Should i stil try the cortizone?l
Brief Answer:
Thank you for clarifications;still think you can try cortisone for few days
Detailed Answer:
Hi back my dear,
Ok, thank you for your further explanation.
Yes, I still think you can try cortisone for a few days and observe the changes. Try to keep good local hygiene and avoid contact with any possible irritant agent (that aggravates the rash).
All the best!
