Suggest Treatment For Rashes On Penis With Redness And Irritation

default
Posted on Thu, 30 Jun 2016
Question: I have had this issue before. Usually when it gets warmer. I am over weight and unfortunate with a small penis. I have gotten a rash on my penis when it is red and irritated and starts to burn I have been prescribed econazole nitrate 1% along with Terbinafine 250mg tablets in the past and this had cleared it up. I am having the same effects and I know i should not self diagnose but it is the same thing and this has worked in the past. I did order a tube of Miconazole Nitrate 2% would this hopefully solve my issue
I would like to get a prescription for these items and avoid the embarrassment of a doctor visit on this.I have been married for 15 years and I have never cheated. I understand this is a small penis and overweight issue

Brief Answer:
Rash over penis: various suggestions and guidance.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

Welcome and thanks for posting your query to the forum.

After analyzing your query I can make out that you have a recurrent type of fungal infection which is occurring again and again.

Fungal infections are common type of infections which can affect anybody at any site. But more commonly it affects the areas which are more prone for sweating or moist areas (as in your case). More specifically these are related to the hygiene and environmental factors along with over weight issues. I reassure you that this has got no direct relation to any major Sexually transmitted infection. I appreciate your part of faithfulness.

For the betterment kindly follow the suggestion below:

- Keep your self away from hot and humid climate.

- Take two times bath.

- Wear cotton clothes and cotton undergarments to be changed two times a day. Do not wear any synthetic or tight garments.

- Do cold compression or warm water compresses according to the weather condition.

- Do not sit continuously for long hours.

-You can apply latest anti-fungal creams such as "Sertaconazole" or "Amorolfine " or "Miconazole" and take anti-fungal tablets according to medical advise.

-You can take oral anti histamine like loratadine or levocetrizine two times a day under medial advise if ther is moderate to severe itching is present.

-Don't try to scratch or rub the area as can lead to further aggravation of the problem.

- You can use any good antiperspirant powders daily to avoid future infection.

- Reduce your weight as it is on higher side.

For the part of small penis: In our counseling part we consider a size of more than 2 inches sufficient to satisfy the sexual needs as well as for the part of fertility. So a small size of penis is totally normal issues in most of men.

I hope this information will help you.

"Wish you good health and early recovery from the problem"

I know all this and I hate the fact of you suggesting it is lack of bad hygiene. I shower daily. I do not sleep around. This is a mositure isssue on my small issue. hense the fact it is embarrassing. I was hoping to avoid the doctor looking or touching my penis becasue i am so shy on this matter that it raises my blood preassure abotu 50 points on on both levels and would like to a prescription seeing i have been diagnosed and this has fixed me in the past. It's not like i am pain meds. I want a topical ointment that i know i am allergic to. I was hoping to ge be fixed before getting worse and your cut and paste diagnose is exactly what i am discribing . So what can do together to fix my issue
