Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXXXXX
I'm sorry no one has responded to your question in 3 hours.
If the rash appears to be forming blisters, this may be Shingles, especially if there is pain.
I see that you are taking Prednisone. Is this for the rash, or was it prescribed for another reason?
If the blisters are just coming out, get to a doctor or urgent care clinic quickly where they can prescribe for you an antiviral medication such as acyclovir. If started within 72 hours of the outbreak, it can lessen the symptoms and greatly reduce risks of complications, specifically postherpetic neuralgia.
The pictures are hard to see the rash/blisters clearly, but your description of rash to blisters is most commonly Shingles.
Please let me know how you are doing after you have been seen.

Detailed Answer:
Shingles is the chicken pox virus (varicella zoster) which is in the herpes family of viruses and so it causes blisters. While chicken pox is an all over the body rash, Shingles only affects one or two dermatomes (regions of skin that are supplied by a nerve). The reason for this is that after having chicken pox, the virus goes dormant in the dorsal root ganglia and then can come out again via specific nerves. So it usually only affects a specific region. And usually only on one side. It can affect the mouth too, if the nerves that go to that region are affected.
So as it has been only 48 hours, go in to be seen, and if Shingles are confirmed, start an antiviral (acyclovir) right away.
