Suggest Treatment For Rashes On The Lower Back

default
Posted on Wed, 15 Mar 2017
Question: It started around may 2016 as a rash on my lower back. Had a starburst pattern and was mostly reddish spots. Around this time I started swimming and the spots turned black and became inactive. I observed today that I started getting small clusters of spots on my chest region. There are exactly 8 spots with 3 on each side on upper chest and one on each side on lower chest. There are also active spots on my back upon close observation.

Brief Answer:
silvery top to some of the lesions which may be an indication of psoriasis

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXXXX I had a look at the pictures.
I see a silvery top to some of the lesions which may be an indication of psoriasis. If you gently scrape the white top and see a blood spot, it is a sign of psoriasis.
Either show a skin specialist or get a scraping and microscopic examination done in a path lab to confirm the diagnosis.
Another possibility is lichen planus. But my first diagnosis is psoriasis.
You can revert back.
