Suggest Treatment For Recurrent Bad Acne
Question: Dear Sir,
I am 25 year old woman. I have been suffering from chronic problem of acne. I was advised by a dermatologist to use the following medication :
1) Minoz OD 100 - 14 tablets
2) Minoz S facewash
3) Cetaphil
4) Cleargel - 1%
5) Nexret - 0.04%
I have observed an increase in the number of pjmples on my face. Also I feel my skin has taken a reddish hue and appears to have turned a tinge darker. Its been 9 days since I have started taking the medication.
Kindly advise if I should continue or stop. Any advise you give will also be helpful.

I knew you are very worried at this moment. This is normal for any girl at this age. Please do not consider this as stigma. Your worry just adds stress unnecessary and increases acne flare.
I feel the regimen prescribed is just fine and standard. Your doctor should have counseled you better before this medicine. It is common to have flare initially with this medicine. Anti acne treatment takes at least one month to show small result but takes full 6 months for 90% result. Meantime you should remain cool.
My answer should bring in relief. I do not think you had reaction with the medicine. Anyways post some pics before and after to compare.
