Brief Answer:
UNKNOWN BITE TREATMENTS

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thank you for posting your query in healthcaremagic
This is Dr. Swarnava Dattagupta answering your query.

See, there is a protocol for doctors regarding unknown bites. The patient should go to the ER, the doctor thoroughly checks the vitals and for other symptoms, keeps the patient under observation for a night and discharges him/her the next day if everything is fine.
But mostly these bites are minor bites which are not that serious, can only induce some hypersensitivity reactions like in your case. In this case, you should go to the ER, if there is minor swellings or itching, the doctor will examine you and give you anti allergic medication - either injection or oral medicine. Generally, as per your case seems like, tab levofloxacin or fexofenadine seems sufficient. You will not need steroids.

Use some mosquito or bug repellents from now on. Or use protective clothes.

Hope I have answered your question.
You can ask me any further question and I will be happy to help.
Regards
