Suggest Treatment For Recurrent Rash On Neck And Upper Chest Area
Simple skin response to sun
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Welcome to Health Care Magic, Thanks for writing to us,
I am Dr.Muhammad Ahmad, I have read your question, I understand your concern and will try to help you in the best possible way.
Our body has been designed really smartly , It has some mechanisms in skin which respond to change of temperature and ultraviolet light.
Some are immediate and some are activated late but for a longer period if exposure continues for some time repeatedly.
Now i will explain the mechanism. When an area of skin is exposed to heat ultraviolet rays or sun local mechanisms work in the skin and dilate the small blood vessels inside the skin, by dilating them , blood circulation to the skin is increased which helps in many ways:
1) More blood, looses more heat to the outside lowering skin temp.
2) More blood saves cells from dying due to heat and radiation.
3) More blood nourishes the seat glands which get activated due to heat.
4) More blood Washes out the allergic substances and free radicals which are produced due to radiation.
This was the short term mechanism , if exposure is repeated again and again body places melanin pigment deposits at sun exposure sites , which we call tanning or darkening of skin.
Opposite happens in cold exposure.
I explained all this to make you understand what's happening, every body responds differently, some may show no response to sun exposure, some may get some redness(like you, it's not a rash though) , some may get a mild itchy rash (when allergy comes into play) , and some may get super eruptive rash , we call as sun burn.
This redness you have is not an allergy otherwise you would have been having itches , that's why the anti allergic cream didn't really work for you. You kinda skin response comes on sun exposure and goes by itself as time passes.
You will have to prevent it by protecting your skin instead of thinking of a treatment,
Best way is to use a good sunblock and avoid excessive sun exposure , everything will be fine . You don't have to be anxious about it.
Wish you the best of health
I Hope this answers your question, if your have more queries feel free to ask, otherwise close the discussion and rate it. Wish you the best of health.

Yes it's normal
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for writing back, as i said earlier every person respond to teperature differently,
You would have seen people who get pale in cold and you would have seen other whose cheeks nose and cold exposed area get red while exposed to cold, our bodies act differently to different stimuli,
Sometimes it starts to happen from the very start and sometimes new changes occur when hormonal balance change in our body like after puberty or around or after menopause.
Not a big thing to worry about. Just simple protective measures will do nothing much to be done about that.
Stay blessed .
Regards .
