Brief Answer: No,scleritis and fibroid uterus are not related. Detailed Answer: Hello XXXXX Thanks for writing to HCM No,recurrent scleritis and fibroid uterus are not related to each other. You doctor has rightly said that irregular menstruation can be related to fibroid uterus. Treatment modality of fibroid uterus is both conservative and surgical depending upon many things like age, family is completed or not, symptoms etc. You should consult your gynecologist for fibroid uterus.I think small fibroid will be managed conservatively. Recurrent scleritis need proper evaluation by a ophthalmologist.Recurrent scleritis may be due to many reasons.Treatment of scleritis resulting from an underlying disease process usually requires specific therapy for that disease. Get well soon. Hope I have answered your question. Further queries are most welcome. Take Care Dr.Indu XXXXXXX
