Suggest Treatment For Recurring Dandruff

Dandruff is recurrent problem; requires regular antidandruff shampoo
Detailed Answer:
Hello. Thank you for writing to us at healthcaremagic
Dandruff is a recurring scalp condition, specially in winters.
In those who have it need to use an antidandruff shampoo e.g a ketoconazole based antidandruff shampoo, rather than a regular shampoo.
Besides dandruff, certain scalp conditions like psoriasis and seborrheic dermatitis may also be present with scalp scaling and itching, which may be mistaken as dandruff.
I would like to know more from you regarding the query.
-Is your dandruff of severe kind? Is it diffuse or does it affect in patches?
-Which shampoo do you use regularly? and how often do you shampoo?
-How effective is the shampoo in benefiting your problem?
Regards

Detailed Answer:
Hi.
Thank you for the details.
I suggest you to try a Ketoconazole based shampoo.
Nizoral is an OTC shampoo that contains ketoconazole and is quite effective for dandruff.
You may shampoo every alternate days. Lather it well and leave it on to act for 5-7 minutes, before rinsing.
Regards
