Suggest Treatment For Red-burning Sores On Penis
Feeling worried about this - as I looked up some images of genital herpes on the net and a few look similar (as in, there are no "clusters" of blisters etc.., but the ones showing the sores do match a bit)
Can you help me with advice ?
Please upload a photograph and provide more information

Hello
I had gone through your question very diligently and I will definitely help you in best possible way
At the outset I would like further information for proper assessment of the condition like
Since how long it has been there and how did it started?
Does it ooze blood or any other discharge?
Are you having burning urination or any kind of discharge through penis
If possible upload me a photograph
Infection or inflammation in genital region can develop even without sexual contact, you need not to worry
Looking at your description it seems to be a treatable condition, so write back to me with these details so that I will be able to tell you more precisely
Best wishes
Since When am I seeing this issue :
I am observing this actively from today morning - though I suspected some kind of tingling sensation a couple of days back. I felt is must be due to some stickiness/hair as I have uncut pubic hair. I was sick with high temperature - fever for a couple of days after that (everyone in my family is suffering one bout of fever and i contacted it last) and therefore didn't notice this issue specifically until today - when it really burnt/pained during the course of washing my penis.
Does it ooze blood or any discharge ?
Thus far I didn't notice any active bleeding/pus secretion but feel burning sensation due to the open fresh sore.
Burning during urination ?
I have urinated normal amounts over the past few days without any discomfort/burning sensation on the glans/inner penis (except minor pain on the day there was the onset of fever - which I have experienced briefly earlier also and hoes away once the fever reduces). The burning is only from the outer penile skin on the under shaft.
Please consider these guidelines

Hello
Welcome again and thanks for the details and photographs
I have seen your photographs, since it has started acutely after an episode of fever, which may get complicated if you doesn't receive adequate treatment in time, So in my opinion you should see a doctor preferably a dermatologist immediately without any further delay for physical examination and a course of antibiotics to avoid superadded infection,
Antibiotics are not available over the counter and you will require doctors prescription for that
Possibility of Herpes can't be ruled out, this might be herpes which can be ascertained by physical examination
Meanwhile keep it clean and moist you can apply any antiseptic or antibacterial ointment like soframycin or mupirocin
Wear loosely fitted undergarments
Have plenty of fluids and maintain good hydration and urine output.
Hope this answers your question
Best wishes
