Suggest Treatment For Red Circular Itchy Spots On Body

Question: I am 70 years old and get out very seldom I have a number of small spots that itch and look like insect bites but are in a circle and faintly connected by a reddish circle. Any suggestions.

Possibly fungal infection called Ringworm.

Detailed Answer:
Without seeing a picture of your rash, I can only guess, and my guess is that it may be ringworm. Ringworm is not caused by worms but rather by a skin fungal infection. It forms an irregular circular rash that may be raised in spots.

Treatment is over the counter anti fungal cream used for 2 weeks. One brand is Lotrimin AF Ringworm cream. You can get this or other anti fungal skin creams at most pharmacies.

If your rash does not look anything like the picture above, then I would advise you see your doctor.
