I had a cortisone shot in right knee and soon after, a few days, it felt as if I had a weakness in both legs, like being told of bad news. Best way I can explain. After that, it left me with this feeling of tingling and peeling at the bottom of both legs. This has all happened within this last month. It is not painful just very annoying. I do not have diabetes. It is very strange to say the least. I still have pain in the knee and am set to have injections starting next week of jell.
Brief Answer:
You may have Vitamin B 12 deficiency
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
I can assure you that your strange feeling in both calf is not related to injection. It is most probably due to vitamin B 12 deficiency. I would recommend you to get your serum B 12 and calcium level. If there is any deficiency then you should start taking calcium and Methylcobal regularly. This will solve your problem.
I hope this answer will help you. Let me know if you want to ask any other questions.
Thanks.
