It started when we had snow one year, about 2 years on her thighs but came and went but seems to have some back worse now, I havent done anything different in regards to food, no allergies have been picked up but never been tested, no one in the family has reported this either.
Okay I will try that, could ring worm come and go? It has disappeared in the past but then come back?

Brief Answer:
Most probably Urticaria

Detailed Answer:
Hello

Thank you for getting back with the answers. I have gone through them. It would have been better if you had shared an image of the rash. her symptoms are suggesting "Urticaria". In this condition allergic reaction occurs due to any cause like insect bite, dust, etc resulting in flat rash over the body with itching. It may occur again & again. Fungal infection is another differential but in fungal infection rashes are usually not formed. If i were her treating doctor then i would have advised following things:

- Cetirizine Suspension one TSF a day for 3 days.
- try that she does not scratch the rash else it might leave scar.
- wash her clothing & bedding thoroughly.

Hopefully you will see improvement in 2-3 days BUT if condition remains same or aggravates then you need to visit hospital & get an appointment for a "Consultant Dermatologist" for evaluation & workup.
Note: Hope the answers resolves your concerns, however for further guidance of skin related queries consult our Dermatologist.Click here to book a consultation
