My husband got reddish boils on his penis head but there is no itching
Last time, he was facing same issue along with itching, he took FAS-3 kit and that worked well
Now again do he need to take FAS-3 kit
It is safe to have intercourse ???

FAS-3 kit contains azithromycin (1 tab) 1 g, fluconazole (1 tab) 150 mg, secnidazole (2 tabs) 1 g. Its meant to cover many types of infections. Such type of combination tablets are not recommended and can have side effects. We need to have a specific diagnosis.
Since he had itching, it was most probably a fungal infection. Now it has recurred again but there is no itching. Now a specific diagnosis is needed and an accurate treatment should be done.
Thus I recommend that he be examined by a dermatologist. Dermatologist may order further tests. Meanwhile he take hygienic food and cleaner drinking water.
You can also upload a photo of the rash, so that I can narrow down the diagnosis. Only then I can suggest if its safe to have intercourse.

Its an overgrowth and not an infection

Hi
Such infection happens after antibiotic use or lowered immunity. It is not something to be worried. It is just overgrowth of fungus that is normally present in body. When it overgrows, it causes such symptoms.
Sexual intercourse can make it worse, but doesnot cause it or spread it.
My suggestions are as follows:
- Apply antifungal lotion or ointment like Zole. It has miconazole which is long lasting and usually requires application of medicine every two or three days.
- Avoid oral antibiotics as much as possible
- Avoid rubbing of synthetic clothes
- Wear clothes in such a way that the area remains dry. Wear loose cotton clothes through which air can pass.
- Improve your immunity with fruits/salads, regular exercise
- Cleanest drinking water from an RO system
Let your immunity fight the infection. Oral anti-fungals and antibiotics may disrupt normal flora and upset your immunity, so avoid them.
