Will these two things cure the sore red spot on my nose. I hate the hospital so I really don't want to go.
Brief Answer:
These two things will be enough.
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thank you for asking HCM.
I have gone through your query. Amoxycillin and bactroban will be enough for this. You can do hot fomentation on the area also. This will help in relieving itching and pain.
Taking chewable vitamin C will be helpful also.
Let me know if anything not clear.
Thanks.

don't want to bother you with strange questions, not big on seeing doctors, but is this mrsa related do you think, I had colonization in my nose a while ago but last time it got cultered it was clear. thank you
Brief Answer:
Can't be sure about MRSA with out testing.

Thank you for your follow up query.
We can't be sure about MRSA with out testing. It is usual to get a boil like this when getting upper respiratory infection and will be normal strain bacteria only in most cases. And your last culture was clear also. So you don't need to bother about that.

Thank you for your follow up query.
It could be the same pathogen causing sinusitis giving you the boil also. So Amoxycillin and bactroban could be enough. In case there is no improvement then you can go for a culture and sensitivity swab and change antibiotic if necessary.
Hope this may help you. Let me know if anything not clear.
Thanks.
