Hi

I have seen the photo. It is in conjunctiva but appears to be angular conjunctivitis. generally allergic in nature. it appears to be growing towards conjunctiva and cornea looks like pterigium. if it reaches nimbus and start encroaching cornea then to be resected. Keep it under observation. In that case can be degenerative in nature.

Can take second opinion from ophthalmologist, can apply cromal eye drop three times daily.
