Suggest Treatment For Red Spots On Scrotum
Question: I have these dark red spots on my scrotum and they have been developing over a year. When agitated they start bleeding but there's absolutely no pain. I recently went to a dermat who recommended clindamycin cream and erythromycin tablet. He told me it was probably an infection developed by the irritation of hair follicles in the area. I was skeptical since I thought it was angiokeratoma but I tried his prescriptions which hasn't worked in a week now. I have no history of any skin issues or any allergies. I am 24 years old and have no penetrative sexual experience. Kindly help

I guess you were led astray by my slightly nuanced name. My gender is male and the pictures attached as I said in my question are of my scrotum. To answer yours, I experience no irritation or itching in that area. I have not applied anything in that area ever until I was recommended the cream I stated earlier. My hygiene practices in that area are extremely sound which is why I am extremely perplexed as to why this is happening. I use an electric shaver to shave my pubic hair. I have not experienced such observations on my other body parts ever before.
Brief Answer:
Angiokeratoma, no treatment needed
Detailed Answer:
Yes sir,
as per your history and the picture provided this is an angiokeratoma only which is symptomless so can be left as it is lifelong without any treatment.
In case in future there is repeated bleeding or pain then get it removed by chemical cautery or radio frequency ablation from a dermatologist.
But usually there is no such problem.
All the best.
