Suggest Treatment For Red Spots On The Cheek

Question: My 4yr old son has four reddish dots (about the size of a pencil head) forming a perfect square on his cheek. It doesn't seem to bother him, they're not raised or really detectable by touch at all. They just appeared two days ago. He did have a fever at the time, and running nose, but is now fine. Nothing new in diet or otherwise. Just wondering what it is, if anything?

Not a cause for concern.

Thanks for writing back. I have checked the attached image. Possibly it is due to some insect bite. However, it does not seem to be a cause for concern. Nothing needs to be done and it should resolve on its own in next few days. However, you may apply some emollient like calamine lotion topically. If there is itchiness you can give some antiallergic like cetirizine.
