You said that you have reddish lesions on the shaft of penis. There is itching. And the lesions are scaly..right? Still, I would like to have answers of few more questions and please upload new photos of the affected parts from close range and different angles as this would let me to better judge your condition and arrive at a diagnosis...

- duration of the disease?
- beside itching,do you have pain or burning?
- the lesions are reddish and flaky, is there any bumps or serous containig vesicles?
- is there erosions or ulcers?
- history of physical relationship?
- did you use condom,if you had sex?
- did you applied any cream on the penis?
- did you take any medicine for any disease recently?
- family history of any disease?
- past history of any disease?

Hi,

Welcome back to HCM...

Thanks for giving history and photos.

I feel that most probably you may be having allergic contact dermatitis.

Kindly avoid contact with soap during bath. You may use dettol liquid diluted in water for cleansing the affected areas. Do dry genital area before wearing the underwear. Wear the cotton made underwear.

For getting cure of your skin problem I would like to suggest as follow...

- apply mild steroid combined with antibiotic ( fusidic acid) like fusibet cream
- take antihistaminic like desloratidine till itch is relieved
- take oral steroid in tappering dose for 2 to 3 weeks

Above tips may be helpful to you in clearing your skin problem. But, you consult dermatologist and have firm diagnosis. He might prescribe drugs as I suggested.
