Suggest Treatment For Reddish Patch On The Breast

Question: I have a smooth roundish patch under the fold of my breast. It is about the size of an egg, with the edges slightly red and the center just a little darker than my normal skin color. The center used to be reddish also, but I have been treating this with Lotrimin AF for two days now, twice or three times a day, and the red color in the center is gone now. It looks a lot like the ringworm pictures, and not like the melanoma pictures at all.
Could it be something else besides ringworm - and should I try another treatment?
Thanks.

Brief Answer:
Continue with Lotrimin, seems like a ringworm infection.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thank you for posting your question to HCM,
I read carefully your question.
Yes, it looks like a ringworm infection. The place is typical since may get sweaty there, a Melanoma would need a lot more time to develop and it would not be red around, it would not had changed by Lotrimin if it was something else too.
So seems like you are doing the right thing, that is the right treatment. You will need to continue it for 2 weeks at least until it clears completely. Keep the area as much dry as possible.
Hope this is helpful.
