Suggest Treatment For Redness, Knot And Bruising On Shin Bone
Question: Hi - this query is a followup to my earlier question. My bruise is warm to touch, has a knot in the center on the shin bone, my temp is 99.7, and there is now redness around the bruise and sore-muscle-like pain on the outside of my calf near the bone but onthe side. Ive read online these could be signs of a blood clot and/or an infection. Im obvioulsy most worried about the possiblity of a blood clot. Ive attached two new photos showing the redness.
Brief Answer:
Infection looks to be the csuse
Detailed Answer:
Hello
It's good to see you
I have gone through your query carefully and it is superficial infection (folliculitis ),most likely following the hair removal procedure .
My suggestion is to take antibiotic like Augmentin along with anti inflammatory drugs like ibuprofen . Get it prescribed by your local doctor .You will be better in few days time.It is not a blood clot.
Hope this answers your query.
