Suggest Treatment For Redness On Scrotal Sac

default
Posted on Tue, 5 Jan 2016
Question: Hello DR.
I have just treated my warts (penis shaft base) by nitrogen (freezing them) then my DR. prescribed fucidin for four days after the treatment then aldara cream to be applied every other day.

so I went along as instructed, finished the 12 or something packs of aldara cream but now im suffering from painfull redness on my sack and some tiny wounds around the frozen area (2 or 3 tiny ones).

I called my DR. and told him about it and he prescribed Cetaphil Moisturising Cream and told me to apply it on the needed area.

I finished the aldara for over a week now and the redness is still there!
thought of using Germolene Wound care Cream on the tiny wounds so its heals faster!

so the warts are gone (thank god) but i cant seem to make up my mind on what to exactly apply for both the redness (on sack) and tiny wounds (near the treated area) to heal the area correctly in a healthy way and quickly!

so please DR. tell me if i should continue with Cetaphil Moisturising Cream or Germolene Wound care Cream or Fucidin for both redness and wounds or should i use something else?

Thanking you
Regards

Take antibiotic and use topical steroid cream . topical

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for your query ,based on the facts that you have posted it appears that you have recently treated your genital warts and now have developed redness of the scrotal sac and wound at the site of lesions .

This is mostly due to appergic reation to medicationa (Cream) with secondary infection .

Following treatment will help to resolve yourr problem
1) Clean your genitals and surrounding area with warm water twice daily .
2) Apply combination of topical antibiotic and steroid cream like Betnavate N over scrotum and affected area .
3) Take antibiotics like Doxicycline twice daily to control infection .

This should work for you and help to resolve the issue within 10 days .

Hope I have answered your query ,please feel free to ask if you have more questions ,I shall be happy to help you

Thank you for replying so soon Dr.
So betnavate N is the only topical cream i should apply on the redness and wounds? Is the other antibiotic a cream too or pills? Because id rather use topical solutions for the area not pills.
