Should Fucidin Be Used For Bleeding Scan Inside Nose?

I have a scab inside my nose that is from non stop bleeding. My nasal passage gets blocked and I have to pull the scab off to breathe which causes bleeding again. I have aprescription for fucidin topical ointment but internet says not to use it inside the nose.

I am so sorry to hear about this non stop bleeding from your nostril. Fucidine is a topical antibiotic that fights infections. Putting it into the nostrils with a bleeding vessel can easily carry it into the system and cause adverse effects s it is not intended to get into the blood circulation. Also, it will not help in stopping any further bleeding. So this has a double problem of not helping you control the disease while at the same time exposing you to potential toxicity. I will also discourage its use in such a situation.

Please, get you most examined for the cause of this bleeding to be established and addressed. This is going to be of great help.
