Suggest Treatment For Redness On The Penis Post Intercourse

Question: I'm an adult male 60 years old. I've developed a redness on my penis from making love to my wife. No blisters or anything like that. I know it's just from her being a little dry during intercourse and that we made love for quite a while. The last product I've tried is Man1-Man oil I ordered it from XXXXXXX It has several nutrients that is supposed to help. I've seen some improvement but very slow. I've tried different creams even an anti fungal cream for athletes foot to Desitin for diaper rash. Some days I think I see improvement returning to normal skin color then other days it's pretty red again. I'm a little embarrassed to talk to my dermatologist right now. Any suggestions please?

I understand the KY jelly will be a good measure for the future. The problem I have is the redness and tenderness on my penis now. What do you recommend to clear up this condition? As mentioned before, I've been trying different product and getting minimal results.
Brief Answer:
Try a broad spectrum antibiotic
Detailed Answer:
Hi, welcome back,
If you have taken care of dryness , redness can be sign of infection called balanoprosthitis . If you can get a urethral swab Culture and Sensitivity, it will help . Till that time you can try a broad spectrum antibiotic like Azithromycin, or Cefexime(please get a prescription for them from your local physician). It would be a good idea to let a urologist see the lesion..
