Answered by Dr. Arun (8 minutes later)
Brief Answer:
could be fungal infection

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for writing to us.
Red rash over the vagina and anus could be due to various reasons.
Common include
Diaper rash, lactose intolerance after an episode of diarrhoea, fungal infection.
General allergic rash including diaper rash should have improved after 20 days of mometasone.
If still not improving it could be the other two causes I had mentioned.
Did she have loose stools before? How are the current stools?
Send us an image if possible.
Few tips -
Avoid diapers.
Try emollient like happynap ointment to soothen the skin.
Fungal infection needs confirmation by your pediatrician and antifungal like clotrimazole.
Wishing your child good health.
Regards
Dr Arun

Brief Answer:
try lactose free milk

Detailed Answer:
It could be lactose intolerance.
This may last even a month after diarrhoea.
You can check the stools for reducing substances.
If positive,
Try lactose free milk like isomil for a few weeks.
Avoid cow's milk.
