Suggest Treatment For Reoccurring Stomach Pain
UTI present with recently passed ureter calculus
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
I am sorry for the situation your nephew is going through.
I was reviewing the lab reports you have uploaded and noted that he has grade 1 hydronephrosis, which is not a disease but due to blockage of lower urinary pathways. Most probable causes could be calculus, the remnant of which were noted in the abdominal ultrasound.
His blood work was showing high white blood cells (WBC) which is referring possible urinary tract infection noted during urine analysis (with trace albumin present in urine).
To my opinion, he should :
- treat UTI with antibiotics
- take urine alkalinizers to stabilize urine pH and subside infection
- drink more water
- take antacids and omeprazole to ease his heartburn and stomach problems
- take buscopan to ease the pain
- have a healthy diet: less salty/oily/fried foods
Hope it was of help! Let me know if you need further assistance!

Possibly, ct-scan will determine the final diagnosis...
Detailed Answer:
Hi back,
I totally agree with his doctors. From the report of abdominal ultrasound, there were some findings suggesting for possible urinary tract stones, that could have caused hydronephrosis.
As the stones were not detected during ultrasound examination, a further Ct-scan is required to determine:
- whether the stones are present?
- if yes, where? (the exact location)
- the management strategies: medications or surgery or other?
Hope it answered to your questions!

Surgery & antibiotics as treatment of choice
Detailed Answer:
Hi back,
Thank you for providing additional information.
If acute appendicitis was noted in the ct-scan report, then a course of antibiotics should be started immediately, while surgery is the final solution. An immediate evaluation by general surgeon is advised.
Wish fast recovery!
