Suggest Treatment For Resistant Yeast Infection

Resistent yeast infection
Detailed Answer:
Hi dear and thanks for your query to HCM.
I have read your question and understand your concern.
No improvement after three days of treatment with Fluconazole means that :
Your yeast infection may be resistant to Fluconazole
You have had intercourse during the time of treatment
Or, you may have a superimposed bacterial infection
Have you done vaginal swab culture with antifungal sensitivity ?
Did you have intercourse during the time of treatment ?
Does your partner have any sign and symptoms (although you've mentioned your partner's fine, but please enquire again for any sign/symptoms) ?
Try to use probiotics and much more fluids especially water.
Please let me know these details so that I can guide you further
Regards

Thank you for your response.
I have not had intercourse since I started treatment. The day I had intercourse I took a shower before and everything seemed fine. My partner did mention a little itching after but he took a shower and continues to have no symptoms.i did notice cramping the first day I had discharge for about 30 mins but haven't felt anything since. I have not had any cultures done and have been drinking about a liter of water a day and taking probitocs daily for the past 6 months
vaginal swab culture and anti-fungal sensitivity
Detailed Answer:
Hi dear again!
While you haven't itching and burning and your partner too, continue with Fluconazole therapy both of you (your partner too).
If you will have other times signs of yeast infection, then the first thing you should do is a vaginal swab culture with antifungal sensitivity.
Feel free to ask other question.
Regards
