Suggest Treatment For Road Rash On Face

Question: my husband had a little atv accident on july 5 and has road rash on his face (can be seen in picture). what is the best way to take care of his wounds? Does the crusty yellowish stuff need to stay or does it need to get cleaned off? It all washed off first day in shower but it is way thicker today. Any info you could give me would be very helpful. Thank you.

I would purchase or get a prescription for some fucidin cream to apply to the road rash three times a day. the crustiness looks like a staphylococcal infection and the fucidin cream should help treat this and improve the appearance. gently remove any loose crusts before applying the cream.
