Suggest Treatment For Sever Acne
Question: Hi,
I am 24 years and I m under acne treatment from past 3.5 years. I used isobest and tretiva 20mg tablets and creams like deriva,fc white,and currently using kiva lite lotion for acne scars.I had suffered severe acne and currently its better now but everyone now and then I get 2- 3pimples every two weeks. Is this normal ? Or is there anything else which can be done

Hello,
Acne, as you are aware is chiefly dictated by your hormonal profile and thus its okay to get one or two acne lesions once in a while especially around perimenstrual period.
Anyways in few years time usually the hormonal balance is restored and thus the tendency for acne comes down drastically.
To prevent these occasional
eruptions, I would suggest you regular application of very low concerntration tretinoin gel(0.012%) at night.
Also use a medicated facewash containing benzoyl peroxide on regular basis for proper cleansing.
Have a good balanced diet and consume lots of fluids and water.
Indulge into regular exercise.
I am sure these simple measures will take care of your issue in better way.

I am currently using liva lite lotion for acne scars and dervia bpo gel on pimples . Is this OK? And also I m taking doxts sl tablets for 15 days..these are suggested by my doc. Are this safe to use?

For acne scars the best treatment options are microneedling treatment with dermaroller for mild to moderate scarrig and laser treatment for moderate to severe scars.
